There is evidence that Colombia has managed to significantly reduce the prices of medicines. However, preliminary data indicates that the pharmaceutical industry would be compensating for this price reduction with an increase in the quantities of regulated products, among other products, and with other strategies that allow it to maintain or even increase its income.
